Orange,
lemon, grapefruit. Since our citrus is grown on our own
farms with cultivation and pesticide treatment supervised
by our in-house agronomists, we can offer total and genuine
product traceability.
The new plant (2001) is different
to other Spanish lines in that it can produce a variety
of juice types as follows:
Standard
aseptic juice packed in either drums or 1 ton (also 1.5
ton) bags which can then be transported in regular sea
containers and, under North European climatic conditions,
often stored out of doors.
Flash-pasteurised juice filled into drums at +2ºC
for deep freezing as in the most modern Florida plants.
Unpasteurised
juice filled into drums at -3ºC so that low temperature
penetration to -20ºC is achieved in 4-5 hours, giving
a totally fresh-tasting product. The equipment for this
is a scraped-surface freezer.
For tanker deliveries the frozen
pasteurised juice is crushed, then filled at 0ºC.
Our pasteuriser and all heat-exchangers
are tubular thus permitting high pulp content juice to
be treated. |
